On November 3rd 2021, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC, Open University of Catalonia) hosted a webinar titled “How to create an inclusive virtual learning environment” with a guest lecturer Alexandra Sedlovskaya, Associate Director of the C. Roland Christensen Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard Business School.
During the webinar, Ms Sedlovskaya offered insights into creating an inclusive and enriching learning environment in the classroom. Her lecture is based on research and practice, the different pedagogical approaches to make an inclusive online classroom that allow for advancement in individual learning.
The event was a part of UOC’s institutional commitment to improving the management of diversity and inclusion in classrooms, and has been organized by UOC’s Faculty of Economics and Business in collaboration with the Area of Globalization and Cooperation, as part of e-Include project.
